Ingredients
✓ 12 sheets Lasagna noodles, uncooked
✓ 2 cups Marinara sauce
✓ 1 pound Shrimp, medium-sized, deveined and peeled
✓ 1 cup Crab meat, fresh or canned (ensure it’s halal-certified)
✓ 1 cup Ricotta cheese
✓ 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
✓ 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
✓ 3 cloves Garlic, minced
✓ 2 tablespoons Olive oil
✓ 2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped for garnish
✓ To taste Salt and pepper
Instructions
✓ Preheat oven to 375°F.
✓ Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
✓ Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
✓ Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2 minutes per side.
✓ Remove shrimp and set aside.
✓ Add crab meat to the same pan, stirring gently to avoid breaking up lumps.
✓ Return shrimp to pan and mix with 1 cup marinara sauce.
✓ Stir in 1 cup ricotta cheese and season with salt and pepper.
✓ Spread 1/2 cup marinara sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
✓ Layer 3 lasagna sheets, then add half the shrimp and crab mixture.
✓ Top with 1 cup of cheese blend and repeat.
✓ Finish with the last layer of noodles, remaining sauce, and the final cheese blend.
✓ Sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
✓ Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden-brown and bubbling.
✓ Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Assemble up to 24 hours ahead and refrigerate. Freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in oven at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
