Ingredients
🥄 1 cup water (room temperature)
🥄 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
🥄 1 heaping tablespoon wet chicken base (like Better Than Bouillon)
🥄 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
🥄 4 cloves garlic (smashed)
🥄 1 teaspoon Y’all Salt (or another seasoned salt)
🥄 1 dash hot sauce (or more)
Instructions
👨🍳 Combine water and melted butter in a bowl until smooth
👨🍳 Whisk in chicken base, vinegar, garlic, salt, and hot sauce
👨🍳 Inject marinade into turkey breasts and thighs using a meat injector
👨🍳 Let turkey rest for 2 hours after injection before roasting
👨🍳 Roast turkey at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes per pound or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C)
Notes
Marinade can be prepared up to 3 days ahead. Store in refrigerator. Use a meat injector to apply evenly throughout the turkey.
