Ingredients
✓ 3–4 large yellow onions
✓ Water (enough to cover)
✓ 1-1½ teaspoons salt
✓ Black pepper
✓ Butter
Instructions
✓ Slice the onions thinly.
✓ Place in a pot with water and cook for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
✓ Season with salt & black pepper as desired.
✓ Simmer until tender, adding more butter if needed.
Notes
Can be served hot or chilled. Adjust seasoning according to taste during cooking time.
