These energy balls are perfect for a quick and healthy snack that provides sustained energy throughout the day.

  • Total Time: 15
  • Yield: 20-30 balls 1x

Ingredients

✓ 1/2 cup dried cherries, chopped
✓ 1/2 cup dried cranberries, chopped
✓ 1/3 cup raw almonds, finely chopped
✓ 2 tablespoons chia seeds
✓ 1 cup rolled oats (use certified gluten-free oats if required)
✓ 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
✓ 1/4 cup honey or pure maple syrup
✓ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
✓ Pinch sea salt

Instructions

✓ Chop the dried cherries and cranberries into small pieces.

✓ In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until well combined—make sure there are no dry spots left in the mixture.

✓ Roll spoonfuls of the mixture into balls about an inch wide. You should end up with around 20-30 balls total depending on size preference.

✓ Place energy ball halves back onto a plate and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving to allow them to set properly.

Notes

Chill before serving to firm up slightly. Store in an airtight container refrigerated or frozen, they’ll last longer this way.
